Performance Comparison
| On the Performance Comparison page you'll see the expected
changes in your aircraft's performance if you switched from the Baseline
airfoil to the Candidate airfoil The figures on the left hand side
show the expected change in stall speed and cruise speed using the new
airfoil you selected versus the Baseline airfoil. The charts at the
right side of the page show you the expected change in power required at
different airspeed, the change in rate of climb, and also the change in
drag. If you are considering changing an existing design, this
information can help you weigh the cost and benefit of a switch in
airfoil. |
